Hello everybody. In one of the previous drawing lessons we told you about the Super Nintendo. In today’s lesson, we will tell you about the main competitor of SNES – Sega Genesis (or Sega Mega Drive). Their fierce struggle was very similar to the war between the current kings of the current console generation – Xbox and PlayStation. So, let’s start the lesson about how to draw a Sega Genesis.
So, as in the lesson about SNES, let’s first sketch out the main outlines of the console body.
Now we sketch out a gamepad (for many it is one of the most convenient gamepads of all times) and a long wire.
Now let’s outline the main details. First sketch out the outlines of the round D-pad at the left and six buttons at the right. Sketch out the details and the cartridge on the body of the Sega.
Using clear and dark lines carefully draw out the contours and details of the body of the Sega Genesis.
Now we’ll deal with the gamepad. Draw the outline of the D-pad and buttons. Make all the lines clear and beautiful.
So, it only remains to add a few shadows. Put hatching on the least-lit areas of your drawing.
Here we showed you how to draw a Sega Mega Drive. Do you like electronics as much as we do? If yes, then be sure to visit the relevant category on our website, where you will find not only tutorials about gaming consoles, but also other electronics, from smartphones and tablets to an old style TV.
