Hello dear artists and comic book lovers. In today’s drawing lesson we will show you how to draw Doctor Strange – one of Marvel’s most unusual superheroes. Dr Strange is a fictional superhero appearing in the comics of the publisher Marvel Comics. Created by the artist Steve Ditko and screenwriter Stan Lee, the character made his debut in Strange Tales # 110 (July, 1963).
So, we need to sketch out the skeleton of our Dr. Strange. Using light lines first sketch out the head in the form of an oval. Next, using an ordinary line, draw the spine with the thorax and pelvis. Next, arms and legs follow that we draw using simple lines.
Let’s add some “flesh” to the “bones” of our Dr. Strange. But before you do this, mark the lines of symmetry of the face. Next draw the neck in the form of a cylinder. Join the chest and pelvis, creating the torso of our superhero. Sketch out the arms and legs with the help of simple gemotetric figures.
Now let’s start adding details. Here we will need to draw a face. Using the horizontal line from the previous step outline the eyes and eyebrows above the eyes. On the vertical linedraw the nose, and just below the nose draw the mouth and mustache.
Carefully outline the face of Dr. Strange – forehead, cheekbones and chin. Next draw out the ear and hairstyle combed on the side.
Draw a high collar, the top of the cape and clothes on the torso. In the center we draw a round brooch and logo on the chest. Add some folds and erase all unnecessary guidelines.
Continue drawing the top part of Dr. Strange. Draw out a large number of folds on the arms. Draw out the hands as in our example (learn more in the lesson about how to draw hands).
Proceed to the legs of Doctor Strange. Here we need to draw to out the lines of legs, knees and feet.
And at the last step of the drawing tutorial about how to draw Doctor Strange we draw out the cape.
