How to Draw a Sink
The team of Drawingforall.net decided to draw everything related to the home interior, so we already made the lessons about the tap and bath. And in this lesson we’ll show you how to draw a sink. This tutorial is fundamentally not difficult, but nevertheless, we wanted to maximally simplify the entire learning process, and therefore divided it into five super simple stages and described them most carefully.
So, to correctly draw a sink, the first thing to do is sketch out the top line of our sink with the help of a geometric figure like in our example. Use light, almost transparent lines to work on the first stages.
No less simple step. Outline the bottom of the sink and the inner area as in the example below. Of course, sinks come in all sorts of different kinds, but we decided to draw the most recognizable one that has a semicircular shape.
With the help of very light lines sketch out the tap, which we drew in one of the previous steps. We drew a faucet with a combined handle, but you can draw two handles, one for a cold one and a second for hot water.
Now using very clear and dark lines, trace the drawing, removing unnecessary guidelines and adding the necessary details, for example a hole to drain excess water.
The last step is left, in which we will add shadows and glare using the classic hatching. Shadows are necessary for us not only to emphasize light and shadow, but also to emphasize the volume in the sink drawing.
So, the lesson about how to draw a sink came to an end. Now it remains only to share this drawing lesson and subscribe to us on social networks (if you have not yet subscribed). We would also be very happy if you visit our other drawing lessons, because we are trying to do our lessons better for you.
