How to Draw Rhino from Marvel
Hello dear readers and welcome to the drawing lesson on how to draw Rhino from Marvel Universe. Reno first appeared in the comic Amazing Spider-Man #41-43 as a criminal, hired by the country of the Eastern bloc.
Step 1
When we draw a man we start with a skeleton. As you can see, the skeleton of Rhino is much wider than the skeleton of an ordinary man. We start with the head in the form of an oval, then move down and draw the spine, thorax and pelvis. And at the very end of the first step we draw limbs using simple lines.
Step 2
Now let’s add the volume to our Rhino. First of all we sketch out the horns and lines of the face. Connect the chest to the pelvis with a pair of simple lines. Next, using conventional geometric shapes, sketch out arms and legs. Note that the body and limbs of our Rhino are much wider than the body of an ordinary man.
Step 3
Now let’s add a few details. We will begin as always with the head. Carefully draw out the horns and the opening for the face. On the sides of the head draw the ears and add rough folds around the neck.
Step 4
Now let’s get to the face of our villain. On the horizontal line sketch out narrowed eyes. Over the eyes draw frowning eyebrows and under the eyes draw some wrinkles. Next, draw a wide nose and mouth with clenched teeth.
Step 5
Now let’s move on to the torso. First draw the lines of the torso. Next erase all unnecessary guidelines from the first steps. With the help of several horizontal lines draw muscles on the torso.
Step 6
Now we need to draw the arms. It seems that it is quite difficult, but in fact it is not. First, draw out the outlines of the arms as in our example. Add lines of muscles and some folds. Draw the fists (to learn more about this visit the lesson on how to draw hands).
Step 7
Now let’s draw the legs. We use the same principle as in the previous step. Carefully draw out the lines of legs, considering all the folds (and there are quite a lot of them here). Draw the feet of our Rhino with large and round toes.
Step 8
In the last steps of out drawing lessons dedicated to comics we always add shadows, and this lesson about how to draw Rhino is no exception. Shadows here we need to add in the style of comics, that is, it will be contrasting and thick hatching.
