How to Draw Darwin from Marvel
Everyone knows such characters as Wolverine, Spider-Man or Hulk. But far from everyone knows such a character as Darwin (and we’re not talking about a scientist from the 19th century). Darwin is the character of the Marvel universe who has the ability to “reactive evolution” – which means that his body automatically adapts to any situation or environment in which he finds himself, which theoretically allows him to survive in all conditions. So, let’s find out how to draw Darwin from Marvel.
Step 1
Let’s start with the skeleton (we always do this when drawing people). With a simple oval sketch out the head. Next, draw the line of the spine, on which we draw the chest and pelvis. With the help of such simple lines sketch out the arms and legs.
Step 2
Sketch out two intersecting lines on the head. Next, outline the neck and torso, tapering in the waist. With the help of simple geometric figures sketch out the arms and legs. By the way, to learn more about drawing a body, visit the lesson on how to draw a Dr. Manhattan.
Step 3
Dummy of our character is ready, now we need to add the basic details to make it more like Darwin. Using the intersecting lines from the previous step, sketch out the eyes, nose and mouth. Further we move lower and we draw the outlines of a costume of our character.
Step 4
Now is the time to take care of the final details. Using clear and dark lines, carefully draw out the outline of the head. Then draw the eyes, nose and mouth. Remove all unnecessary guidelines from the head.
Step 5
Now the torso. Carefully draw out the shape of the chest and press. After removing all unnecessary guidelines from the torso, carefully draw the lines of the costume.
Step 6
We pass to the arms of our Darwin. Draw out the outline of deltoid muscles, biceps, triceps and forearm muscles. Remove all unnecessary lines from the arms.
Step 7
Now we are doing the same thing with the lower part of the body of our superhero. That is, we need to carefully draw out the outlines of the leg muscles and remove all unnecessary guidelines from the legs.
Step 8
Now let’s start the process of drawing shadows. You can make them as in our example, that is using hatching, or make shadows like in our lesson about Spider-Man that is, using dark and contrasting areas of shadows.
This lesson was devoted to how to draw Darwin from Marvel. It was not the most famous character in the Marvel universe, but we think that this will be quite an interesting and useful experience in drawing.
