How to Draw a Star

Good day! Today’s drawing lesson is very simple, but at the same time it will be a good exercise for accuracy. It’s about how to draw a five-pointed star.

 

Step 1

You can use a ruler to draw this lesson, but it will be much better if you can draw a star without a ruler. So, first draw two lines in direction as in the example below.

 

Step 2

Now draw another one angle, that starts from the end of the right line in the previous step. The shape of the star almost ready.

 

Step 3

Now, the most simple step of the tutorial on how to draw a star. Just connect the ends of the lines from the first and second steps of our tutorial, as in the example below.

 

Step 4

That how should looks your drawn star, if you did everything right.

 

Step 5

In this step we need to erase all unnecessary lines, which located inside the star.

 

Step 6

Draw straight lines from the middle of our star, which will connect it with every corner of the star.

 

Step 7

Now, on the last step of the drawing tutorial on how to draw a star we add some shadows. Just add shadows by simple and even hatching on one side of the each beam of star.
