How to Draw a Plate

Hello everybody. We have already made a lot of lessons about different kinds of kitchen items such as fork, spoon and bottle. And in this drawing tutorial we will show you how to draw a plate step by step.

 

Step 1

This will be a very simple lesson consisting of simple geometric shapes. So, let’s start by drawing an oval.

Step 2

Now draw another oval inside the oval from the first step. This oval should be a little lower lower the center.

Step 3

Now draw out the bottom of the plate as shown in our example.

Step 4

Draw out the edge of the plate with a long and curved line.

Step 5

Now using hatching add shadows and glare on the surface of our plate.
