How to Draw a Duck for Beginners

 

Hello, dear friends! In today’s drawing lesson, we will show you how to draw a duck for beginners. This drawing lesson going to be quite simple. This drawing tutorial continues our lessons about animals (a goose, chicken, cow). So, let’s start the tutorial and learn how to draw a duck!

 

Step 1

At first draw a little oval for the head, curved oval for the neck and a big oval for the torso. This step is more important that it seems. The mistakes made here, to fix it later will be very difficult.

 

Step 2

Sketch out the contours of the beak. Using curved lines sketch out the wing and tail. Draw the outlines of the legs.

 

Step 3

Draw the almond shaped eye. Draw the borders of the largest feathers on duck’s body. Don’t forget – we draw a rounded vertical lines, at first horizontal. This lines are more faded then vertical lines.

 

 

Step 4

Give the ricture a finish look. Detail duck’s bidy, draw the pupil and paws.
