How to Draw a Bucket

Hello everyone and welcome to the drawing lesson by the team of Drawing For All. Today we decided that it is worthwhile to make a simple drawing lesson about an item that familiar for all inhabitants of planet Earth. So, let’s start the lesson about how to draw a bucket.

 

Step 1

We want our bucket drawing to be smooth and symmetrical. To do this, we draw a straight vertical line.

Step 2

In the upper part of the line from the previous step we draw out an oval.

Step 3

Using two straight lines draw the side edges of the bucket. Using a slightly curved line draw the bottom.

Step 4

Here we just need to take an eraser and delete the line that we drew in the first step, we do not need it anymore.

Step 5

In the upper part we draw the mount and draw a bucket handle with a pair of long curved lines.

Step 6

Draw out a grip as in our example. Using a straight line, draw a seam (which is only present on metal buckets).

Step 7

Once again we pick up the eraser to erase all the extra lines.

Step 8

Now with the help of clear strokes we draw glare. Using dense hatching draw shadows.
