How to Draw a Bazooka

A bazooka is an element without which it is difficult to imagine many games. It also often appears in other works. This step-by-step tutorial will show you how to draw a bazooka and depict the characteristic parts of this weapon.

The first and most important thing to remember is that a bazooka is essentially a cylinder with several protruding elements. This elongated cylindrical form should remain in your mind throughout the entire drawing process.

We usually show you how to draw people, draw soldiers, or sketch a variety of characters from comic books or anime.

How to draw a bazooka step by step

Step 1: Outline the bazooka’s long body

Outline a long, narrow rectangle for the bazooka’s body. Draw two nearly horizontal, parallel lines and connect their ends with short vertical strokes. The launch tube has a cylindrical form, but its side view has this simple rectangular outline.

Step 2: Add the front and rear details

Next, sketch the details at the front and back of the bazooka. Near the left end, draw a narrow vertical strip that extends below the tube. On the right, mark a short end section with a slightly curved line across the body. Outline the flared rim at the rear and add the small raised shape just above it.

Step 3: Draw the handle, trigger, and stock

Draw the narrow grip slanting down to the right, with the trigger and its guard immediately to the left. Farther right, outline the stock with a long diagonal front edge, a short bottom, and a curved back. Your bazooka drawing is now complete.

Basic forms lie at the foundation of drawing any object, including weapons. Whether you are drawing long swords of different types, depicting guns, revolvers, or other weapons, you should always begin by establishing the main basic masses and volumes, and only then carefully add the details.

And of course, the most important thing to remember is that drawing such simple objects separately is far from the final goal.
