How to Draw Maggie Simpson

Finished drawing of Maggie Simpson with a bow, pacifier, and long dress

In this step-by-step tutorial, we will show you how to draw Maggie Simpson – the youngest member of the cartoon family.

Maggie Simpson is a character from the animated series The Simpsons and the youngest daughter of Homer Simpson and Marge Simpson.

Everyone has wondered why Maggie never grows older. Throughout the long history of The Simpsons, Maggie has remained the same age. However, she is an exceptionally developed child for her age, like her older sister Lisa.

How to draw Maggie Simpson step by step

Step 1: Sketch Maggie’s eyes and nose

First, draw two circles for the eyes. Add the nose between them. In the opening sequences of the early seasons, Maggie’s price was shown as $847.63, the average monthly cost of raising a child in the United States at the time.

Step 2: Add the cartoon spiky hair

Use a zigzag line to draw Maggie’s hair. Note that Lisa Simpson has a similar hairstyle. In season 20, Maggie’s price was changed to $243.26.

Step 3: Draw the cheek and pacifier

Use a short curved line to outline the cheek. Add Maggie’s well-known pacifier. Another fact about Maggie Simpson is that Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons, provided the sound of the pacifier for many years.

Step 4: Add Simpson’s ear and neck

Sketch the lower lip and neck with curved lines. Add the ear and its inner details. Another fact is that Maggie sometimes spoke in the early shorts from The Tracey Ullman Show.
