How to draw Roger from American Dad step by step

Step 1: Sketch the alien’s head and neck

Draw an oval and a pair of lines that form a long shape widening toward the top. The basic shapes of the head and neck are now ready.

Step 2: Add the character’s eye guides

Now sketch two small diagonal ovals as guides for drawing the eyes.

Step 3: Draw the face and body of Roger

Erase the extra lines and outline the half-closed eyes, which give Roger’s face a phlegmatic expression. Use curved lines to form the figure-eight-shaped body. Add the pupils and three lines on the head.
