How to Draw Richard the Stork

In this drawing tutorial we will show you how to draw Richard the Stork from the eponymous animated movie. As you know, Richard is a sparrow, which passes through a series of adventures with his friends by the name of Olga and Kiki.

Step 1

At first we draw the shapes of the head in a shape of a circle and torso in a shape an oval.

Step 2

Draw two intersecting lines which will help us to draw the face. Sketch out the wings, legs and tail.

Step 3

Using the horizontal lines of the face draw the eyes. First draw the shapes of the eyes and then the pupils. Right on the intersection of the lines draw the beak.

Step 4

Draw out the lines of the head, erasing the unnecessary lines. Draw the hair and brows.

Step 5

Draw out the lines of the torso. Make the legs thicker. Using short strokes mark the outlines of feathers.

Step 6

Paint out the pupils, leaving glares in them. Draw the feathers on wings and tail.
