How to Draw Anime Male Eyes
In this drawing guide, we will tell you how to draw anime male eyes. This is a way with a minimum of complex details that will help you get an excellent result. We are sure that you will be able to draw this even if you are an aspiring artist. Nevertheless, we advise you to watch our tutorial on basic eye anatomy for artists. This will help you understand which part of the eye you are drawing in each step.
So, let’s try to start this short but very useful anime drawing lesson.
Step 1
First, draw the basic guidelines. Place them in the very center of the sheet if you are drawing only the eyes. The vertical line should indicate symmetry, and the horizontal lines should indicate the upper and lower borders of the eyes.
Step 2
Secondly, draw the upper contours of the eyes using the lines from the previous step. Note that the lower parts of the eyebrows are located very close to the lower vertical line.
Step 3
And now draw the lower borders of the eyes. The bends are much more lateral compared to the upper borders. The main parts of these paths are parallel to the horizontal guideline from the first step.
Step 4
Draw pupils in the form of round shapes inside the outlines of the eyes. Try to position the pupils as accurately as possible, because the direction of the gaze and the atmosphere of the whole picture as a whole depend on this.
Step 5
Delete all extra lines from the drawing. Evaluate the correctness of all shapes and lines. Add rough, angular outlines of the upper and lower eyelids.
Step 6
Add the contours of large eyebrows. But, avoid too sharp curves to avoid a caricatured evil expression in the eyes. The contours of the eyebrows should expand in the medial direction.
Step 7
So now you can complete this anime tutorial. Add some shading to fill in the pupils and eyebrows. If you want to complicate the drawing, you can add some shadows.
So, we hope this was a useful anime tutorial for you. Do not forget to write to us about how good the result you got. We are looking forward to your comments!
