How to Draw a Belt
In one of the previous drawing lessons we showed how to draw pants, and in the continuation of that lesson today we will draw a belt. In the world there are a huge number of different types of belts, they come in different materials and different forms. In this tutorial on how to draw a belt, we will draw the most classic belt.
Step 1
Let’s start our belt drawing with the simplest. With the help of a very light line, we outline an ordinary flat oval.
Step 2
Now, using a pair of simple, slightly curved lines, we give the belt a more volumetric look.
Step 3
With the help of several very light lines, we sketch a belt buckle. Next we sketch the edge of the belt using a curved line.
Step 4
Now, with the help of dark and smooth lines, we carefully draw out all the belt lines. Remove the unwanted lines from the belt drawing.
Step 5
When you draw the shadows, try to make them very light and smooth. For a darker shadows, use another hatching layer.
