How to Draw a Ferrari Enzo

Completed Ferrari Enzo drawing with detailed bodywork, wheels, highlights, and shadows.

Ferrari has created many legendary sports cars and supercars with very different designs. In this tutorial, we will show you how to draw a Ferrari Enzo, one of the most famous models of the Italian brand.

The team of artists and editors has repeatedly described the process of drawing supercars from very different points of view, but we understand that different models from the same company can be very different from each other, so we create separate tutorials describing specific models.

So let’s draw a Ferrari Enzo from a three-quarter view in a realistic style, with shadows and textures.

How to draw a Ferrari Enzo step by step

Step 1: Outline the Enzo body

The first stages of drawing a Ferrari Enzo will consist of preparatory actions that will help avoid mistakes when forming this supercar. So, in the very first step, depict a simple layout using several very smooth and light lines. Outline the low hood, rounded roof, and rear part of the body. Keep all the lines light.

Step 2: Sketch the headlights and wheels

With the help of the same very light lines, create the most necessary details. First of all, draw the long characteristic headlights and no less characteristic windows. Next, outline the door and mark the wheels with simple oval shapes. Try not to make the lines too dark in these initial steps.

Step 3: Mark arches and intakes

Continue adding important and characteristic details to the Ferrari Enzo drawing. Again, move to the nose of the supercar and outline the unusual air intakes. Next, form the wheel arches, give the wheels volume, and sketch the rims. Do not forget about the mirrors and the large air intake on the side.

Step 4: Draw the Enzo front in detail

Starting from this stage, we will work on the final details of the Ferrari Enzo drawing. As usual, begin from the front, carefully tracing the elongated headlights and characteristic air intakes. Draw these parts with clear and dark lines. Then take an eraser and remove all unnecessary guidelines from the area you have just refined.

Step 5: Trace the roof and windows

The fifth stage will be very simple and even elementary. Using clear and dark lines, trace the rounded roof and draw the windows. Carefully follow the contours created in the previous stages so that the upper part of the car look smooth. Do not forget to draw the round fuel cap and remove all unnecessary guidelines from this area.

Step 6: Finish the side contours

This stage will be a little more difficult, but nevertheless, we are sure that you will not face difficulties. Carefully trace the door and all the details on the side of the Ferrari Enzo. Next, form the rear part of the car with clear and smooth lines. After that, erase all unnecessary guidelines from the body.

Step 7: Draw the Enzo rims

This step can be truly difficult. Trace the tires so that they are clear, smooth, and dark. Next, draw the characteristic rims. First, mark all the spokes with light lines, carefully checking their position, and only after that trace them with clear and dark lines.

Step 8: Add the grille and shadows

Using crossing lines, draw the grille of the supercar. Next, using a few light strokes, add highlights to the windows and body of the Ferrari Enzo. After that, draw the shadows using dense and even hatching. Do not forget about the cast shadow under the Ferrari so that the supercar does not seem to be floating in the air.

The Ferrari Enzo has a very characteristic design. You can draw it from another angle using the same basic principles.

Ferrari models can look very different from each other, so for further practice try to draw a Ferrari F40, another legendary supercar of the Italian brand but with a completely different design.

You can also draw a Ferrari LaFerrari a more modern supercar with smoother and more complex contours. We also have a tutorial on how to draw a Ferrari 458 Italia if you want to continue drawing cars from the same brand.

Also, try sketching another Italian supercar and draw a Lamborghini Gallardo.
