How to Draw Princess Cadence

Hello, dear lovers of My Little Pony. Today we present you a new drawing lesson, in which we will show you how to draw Princess Cadence.

 

Step 1

We begin to draw a pony using a usual circle. Actually, almost all drawing lessons about residents of Equestria begin the same way. Then sketch out a small line in the lower part of the circle, which will help us to draw the eyes of Princess Cadence.

Step 2

Excellent. Now draw the contours of the body (figure similar to slightly flattened potato) and the neck (a pair of smooth lines that connect the head and torso).

Step 3

We outline the legs – the front legs we draw using straight lines, note, that they don’t have curves. And the back legs visually divided into two parts, a bend is at the junction of these parts.

Step 4

We continue our drawing lesson on how to draw Princess Cadence. At this stage, we outline the eyes and nose of our pony.

Step 5

Draw the bang-mane. To draw the mane, use smooth and curved lines. Using the same smooth and curved lines draw the tail. And at the end of this step we drawing horn and ear.

Step 6

Cadence – is a princess after all. And therefore now we will draw the crown. In the same step we draw the pupils inside the eyes of princess. And do not forget to schedule a few spots of glare.

Step 7

Erase extra guidelines from the face of princess Cadence, using soft pencil paint the pupils leaving glare spots. Draw eyelashes. It should look something like this:

Step 8

In this step we add some details to Cadence – draw the crown and stone at its center, draw curls on the horn and write a few lines of hair. By the way, the hair should be drawn in the direction from the roots to the ends, and it is generally true for bang of cartoon ponies and beard of realistic drawn samurai.

Step 9

Draw decoration with swirls, which is located at the beginning of the body (or, at the very end of the neck). Here we outline the contour of the folded wings and outline the silhouettes of lower legs.

Step 10

Now erase the extra guidelines and draw the wing.

Step 11

Finish the lesson – draw the tail (as well as we drew a bang), outline the hoof and also draw the stone, which is located on the hip of Princess Cadence.
