How to Draw Krusty the Clown

As we said in other lessons about the Simpsons, there are a lot of stereotyped characters in this series. One such is the Krusty the Clown – a cynical, mercantile, but extremely interesting character. And this lesson on how to draw Krusty the Clown is dedicated to him.

 

Step 1

First of all, we draw a round belly, the outline of the chest and the long head of our clown.

Step 2

Now using very light lines sketch out the widely spaced legs and arms of our clown.

Step 3

Now we start using darker lines. With their help draw out round eyes and an oval nose.

Step 4

Draw out the top of the head and a bunch of curly hair on top of the head.

Step 5

Move down and draw out the outlines of the mouth, stretched out in a broad smile.

Step 6

Now let’s make our character look more like a clown, drawing two long bunches of curly hair on each side of the head.

Step 7

Let’s now move on to the torso and draw out a collar, a bow tie and outlines of the T-shirt.

Step 8

Now we need to draw out short sleeves and arms of our Krusty the Clown.

Step 9

We finish drawing the top part of Krusty the Clown, drawing open palms, dressed in gloves.

Step 10

Let’s go to the bottom of our clown and draw out the lower part of the torso and legs.

Step 11
