How to Draw a Tomahawk

Greetings dear readers and welcome to drawing tutorial about how to draw a tomahawk. The principles of this drawing lesson are very similar to the principles of drawing a battle axe, which we drew earlier.

Step 1

So, first of all draw the grip of tomahawk, which can be straight for the entire length or taper towards the tip.

Step 2

Now draw the head of the tomahawk which consists of a blade and bowl at the top.

Step 3

Add some details on the head and grip of our tomahawk.

Step 4

Let’s add a pattern. You can draw patterns as in our example, or you can come up with your own pattern.

Step 5

Using simple hatching add shadows to the tomahawk and glare on the blade of the tomahawk.
