How to Draw a Lotus Elise
Hello dear artists, fans of sport cars and readers of our site. Today we show you how to draw Lotus Elise. If you are fans of drawing lessons and often visit our site, then most likely you know that our site is literally filled with sport cars, such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Jaguar and others.
Step 1
So, you probably already know that all drawing lessons start with common lines and step by step move to to the details. Thus, outline the general outlines of the body of our Lotus Elise using very light and smooth lines.
Step 2
Another basic step in which we continue to add the main features of our car. So sketch out the wheel arches and wheels as in our example below.
Step 3
Now we start to draw details, we always do it from the front of the car, and this drawing lesson is no exception. Using smooth and clear lines draw out the car’s hood and headlights.
Step 4
Continue to add details in the front part of our Lotus Elise. Draw a grille with round headlights inside. Next, draw the bumper and air intakes on the bumper.
Step 5
We rarely draw cars with an open top, this one is one of the few. Draw a windshield, rear-view mirrors and the back of the car.
Step 6
Continue the drawing lesson on how to draw Lotus Elise. Now draw out the visible parts of seats and add some glare on the windshield using a couple of strokes.
Step 7
Continue the lines of the top of the car that go into the trunk. Next, draw the door and the details on the side of our car.
Step 8
A fairly difficult step – you must draw wheel arches and wheels. The lines must be smooth and the ovals of the wheels should be even.
Step 9
So we came to the last step. Draw the rims, which of course can be of any shape and any type. And at the very end add shadows using simple hatching.
