How to Draw a Lamborghini Huracan

Finished Lamborghini Huracan drawing with detailed rims and hatched shadows.

Lamborghini has many different sports car models, but you would never confuse them with another car on the road. In this tutorial, we will show you how to draw a Lamborghini Huracán, one of the most striking representatives of the brand.

Throughout the steps, you will follow the fundamental techniques of drawing a Lamborghini: creating the low, wide overall mass of the sports car, drawing angular contours, and maintaining the characteristic relationship between the body and the large wheels.

At the same time, we will show you how to depict the characteristic elements specific to the Huracán.

How to draw a Lamborghini Huracan step by step

Step 1: Sketch the Huracan body

First of all, we need to draw the pronounced wedge-shaped outline of the Lamborghini body. Sketch out the top, front, and side edges of the Huracan body using very light lines. Keep the front of the hood very low. The roof forms another long, shallow curve that descends toward the rear.

Step 2: Add the angular headlights and wheels

Now male the drawing look more like a Lamborghini Huracan. To do this, add angular headlights at the front of the hood of the supercar. Place them low on the sloping front plane and make their inner ends noticeably narrower. Next, outline the angular and very narrow windows. Move to the bottom and sketch out the wheels as simple ovals. Their axes should correspond to the direction of the car.

Step 3: Sketch the front intakes and wheel arches

At the front, sketch out the large air intakes. Next, go to the side of the Lambo and sketch the outlines of the rear-view mirror, windows, and door. Then outline the large wheel arches and add thickness to the wheels. Use a second oval inside each wheel to show the visible side surface of the tire. Don’t leave the wheels as flat shapes.

Step 4: Refine the Huracan front end

In the previous three steps, we outlined the body of the Lamborghini Huracan using light lines. Starting here, use dark, clear lines to draw the angular contours of the bumper, hood, and headlights. Preserve the sharp taper of the headlights and carefully draw the long creases on the hood. Between the headlights, draw the Lamborghini logo.

Step 5: Draw the low roof and windows

Continue the outer line of the hood and draw the very low roof, which smoothly transitions into the rear. Next, carefully draw the windows and rear-view mirror, removing unnecessary guidelines from this area. Make the windshield pillar strongly inclined and make the side window narrow.

Step 6: Refine the door and side intake

Now draw the details on the side of the Lamborghini. With dark, clear lines, refine the Huracan door, handle, and air intake at the bottom. The lower intake begins behind the front wheel and cuts sharply into the side of the body before. Also outline the body creases and remove the remaining guidelines from the supercar.

Step 7: Draw the wheels and multi-spoke rims

Here we need to be more careful because the wheels should be as smooth, symmetrical, and even as possible. Using clear, dark lines, trace the Huracan wheels and wheel arches, then draw the rims. Start with the central hubs and build the thin spokes outward toward the rim. Since the wheels are seen at an angle, fit the spoke pattern into the visible plane of each rim. They do not have to look exactly like those in our drawing; you can give them a different design.

Step 8: Add shadows to the supercar

The Lamborghini Huracan is almost complete, and we just need to add some shadows to give our supercar more volume. Add hatching to the least illuminated areas. Make the large openings in the front bumper very dark and add a dense shadow inside the side air intake. Under the body, draw a cast shadow that visually places the low Huracan close to the ground. Use lighter hatching where the side planes turn away from the light.

In this tutorial, we showed how to draw a Lamborghini Huracan – one of the most beautiful supercars. As you can see, the steps in this tutorial were very similar to those in our tutorials about other Lamborghinis, so you can safely use this tutorial to draw other models of this brand.

Sharp, angular shapes, large wheels, and a low, wide body are hallmarks of this brand. With this in mind, you can draw realistic cars inspired by Lamborghini models.
