Today we decided to continue the theme of sports equipment and made a lesson on how to draw a dumbbell easy for beginners. Dumbbell is a very simple subject, but despite this, we decided to divide the lesson about drawing a dumbbell into four simple steps to achieve the greatest accessibility.
As in the lesson about the barbell, the first thing we need to do is draw a straight stick using clear lines. You can draw the bar of dumbbells with a ruler, but if you want to learn how to draw straight lines, try not to use it.
Now with the help of ovals of different size sketch out the plates and the dumbbell clamps. When drawing a dumbbell, try to maintain proportionality so that the sketch looks smooth and beautiful.
Erase all unnecessary guidelines and make the lines of the dumbbell drawing clear and dark. By the way, to check the proportionality of the sport equipment drawing, look at it through the mirror, and you will see all the inaccuracies and irregularities.
Now with the help of hatching, we draw shadows. It will make our drawing more realistic and voluminous. To darken the shadows a little, just add an extra layer of hatching.
