How to Draw Santa’s Sleigh

Have a nice day, dear artisrs! We posted drawing tutorial about Santa Claus not so long ago. So we decided to continue this Christmas theme. As a result of this decision you can see this drawing tutoral in which we will tell  you how to draw Santa’s sleigh. Let’s start it!

 

Step 1

First we will draw a figure that looks like an inverted prism. It is a little strange beginning, is not it? You can use the ruler to make this step easer.

 

Step 2

Now it’s time to draw the sleigh runners. It is very important to make these two horizontal lines parralel.

 

Step 3

In this step we will outline the contours of the sleigh’s edges. Use curved lines as in our example.

 

Step 4

Ok, we have an approximate outer sled outline. Now let’s draw the seats. You can make the back seat higher or draw Christmas patterns on it.

 

Step 5

Empty sleds are not very fun, isn’t it? That’s why we will draw a bag with gifts. Please note that the bag should be filled with gifts.

 

Step 6

And the last action of this tutorial is drawing the skids. Pay attention – the lateral lines must be perfectly even.
