How to Draw a Heart Rose

In this lesson, we will show you how to draw a rose heart. In general, it’s just a rosebud in the form of a heart, but in order to draw this thing correctly, you need to make some effort. You also need to know how to draw a rosebud.

Here, of course, we will show you not only how to draw a rose heart, but also give you some useful tips on how to make the picture more convincing and realistic.

 

Step 1

First of all, depict the outlines of the rose heart. As you can see, this geometric figure consists of two simple, curved, symmetrical lines.

Step 2

Now sketch the outlines of the rose petals. Do not try to give them a perfect look, because in this stage it is necessary to create the outlines of the petals and shape.

Step 3

Now, using clearer and darker lines, carefully draw the outlines of the outer petals, as shown in the image. The outlines of the petals should be wavy.

Step 4

Now using the same clear, dark, and wavy lines draw the inner petals. Note that the inner petals of the rose heart should be noticeably smaller than the outer ones.

Step 5

Now take the eraser and carefully remove all the unnecessary lines that were outlined at the beginning of this drawing lesson. Make the lines of the rose heart drawing darker and clearer.
