How to Draw a Candy Cane

In the continuation of the topic of sweets, we will show how to draw a candy cane – a very popular candy that is loved not only by children, but also by adults all over the world.

 

Step 1

First of all, we outline the shape of the candy, it will be a simple light line rounded at the very top.

Step 2

Now let’s add another simple line to our sweet drawing, this completes the shape of our candy cane.

Step 3

Using simple, slightly curved lines, we draw out a repeating pattern on the surface of the candy cane.

Step 4

Darken some strips as in our example. At the end of the lesson we will add shadows to the surface of sweet treat.
