How to Draw a Mclaren 650s

If you are a frequent visitor to our site, then you know that we love McLaren cars. We already have a lot of lessons on the most different models of this cool car company, and today we will make one more lesson about McLaren. And as you can see, the theme of this lesson is how to draw a McLaren 650s.

 

Step 1

As always, we first sketch out the basic outlines of the body of the car. And as always, we use very light lines to draw the first step.

Step 2

Now, with the help of common lines we sketch out the outlines of headlights, rear-view mirrors with rounded wheels.

Step 3

Now sketch the outlines of an unusual bumper, windows, an air intake on the lateral part of the body and outlines of the wheel rims.

Step 4

This will be a fairly simple step – with the help of clear and dark lines we need to draw out the outlines of an unusual radiator grille.

Step 5

Now we move a little higher and using smooth lines carefully draw out the outlines of headlights and hood.

Step 6

Continuing the lines of the hood draw out the outlines of the roof and windows. Draw the rearview mirror and move to step number seven.

Step 7

We pass to the side of the body and accurately draw out the outline of the door, air intake and rear part.

Step 8

And now it’s a painstaking step – here we need to draw out the outlines of wheels and wheel rims.

Step 9

Now draw the texture of the radiator grill using cross lines and add shadows using dense hatching.

The lesson about how to draw a McLaren 650s was quite complicated, but at the end of this lesson we were able to get a fairly realistic car drawing.
