How to Draw the Multiple Man
Hello! Today we wil draw the Multiple Man. You probably know that he is a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants. He is also known as one of the most devoted assistants of Magneto.The main superpower of our hero is the creation of his clones. Each of the clones is an independent person able of making decisions and thinking constructively. To create a clone, he only needs to snap his fingers or stamp his foot.
Step 1
At the first step, we draw the stickman – a man made of sticks and circles. We draw him to mark the pose and main proportions.Using light lines sketch this stickman. You can read here (step 1) about the rules of drawing a male figure’s stickman.
Step 2
Let’s outline crossing lines on the head area. Thise lines will help to draw the details of the face. Then we mark the neck in the form of cylinder and the contours of the body. Note that the body should be wide at the shoulders and taper at the waist (If we draw a person who has an athletic figure). After that, using simple geometric lines sketch out the arms and legs.
Step 3
So we begin the detailing. And, starting with this step, we will use only darker lines. You can use stronger pressing on the pencil or use a liner or ink. So, draw out the contours of the face’s details and helmet that covers the upper, side and low parts of the face.
Step 4
Now let’s move on to the body. Continuing the neck lines draw a trapezoid muscles. A little below draw lines of clavicles and large pectoral muscles. Drawing wide back muscles and abdominals.
Step 5
Ok, now we move to the arms of the Multiple Man. As in the previous action, using dark and contrast lines draw out the contorus of the arms, taking into account the curves under the clothes. After that draw hands (if you want to learn more about this, read the lesson on how to draw hands).
Step 6
It remains for us to draw only the lower part of our superhero. Erasing unnecessary lines from the legs gently draw out all the lines and muscles. Sketch out the details of the costume and the necessary folds.
Step 7
We have a completely finished character’s figure. And in this step we will draw patterns on his suit.
Step 8
Let’s add some shadows to make our character more realistic. Using dense shading draw the shadows that are located on anterior neck area, internal parts of hands and in the area of knee joints.
