Good time of day, dear readers of our site! Today the team of DrawingForAll.net have prepared for you a new drawing tutorial, dedicated to a car.
First outline the contours of the body and the wheels of Mercedes. Please note, that all lines, except the wheels, are straight, and the lines that formed the front part of the car body are parallel. As you can see, this is the base, the skeleton of the car.
We outline the contours of the windows, headlights and sketch out the bumper. Between the lights outline the location of the radiator grille, in the center of which draw a circle. As you could guessed, this is the logo of Mercedes-Benz.
Here we start adding details – draw tires and discs of wheels, sketch out the mirrors. Here we outline the location of the license plate and mark the approximate position of the doors.
Circle the radiator grille, as in our example. In the middle of the radiator grille draw a straight line. Using the hatching add the texture of grill. In the center of the grill draw the famous logo inside the circle.
Draw the edging of the headlights with rectangles with rounded corners. Below these headlights draw LED strips. At the top of the hood draw a three-dimensional turn signals with smooth edges.
Below the upper grille draw bumper. In the bumper draw rectangles of the lower radiator grille. Here also draw the panel for the number plate. At the end of stage draw fender above the wheel. In this drawing lesson, indeed almost all the lines are straight and smooth.
Continue working with the wings of the Mercedes G-Class, using only smooth, straight lines. Draw the side molding and ventilation grille. Here also outline the edging of the windshield and side mirrors.
We are slowly, but surely approaching the end of the lesson on how to draw Mercedes-Benz Gelandewagen. Using the marking of the third step of our lesson draw contours of the doors and moldings. Outline the three windows, pay attention to their corners.
Steps for passengers and driver are a very important part of car design. This is especially true for higher vehicles, such as the Mercedes G-Class – therefore, draw a wide, gently sloping step, which is located between the wheels. Also in this step we draw the back fender and back bumper.
In the finishing step of the drawing tutorial about Mercedes we draw the wheels. Draw wheel rims, using smooth and curving lines – as you can see, they look like a star. Do not forget to outline the inside of the left wheel from us.
Perhaps this lesson was too complicated and had too many straight lines. Such complex lessons teach artists to work with small and seemingly tedious details. But exactly such hard work in the end gives you the ability to draw very complex and detailed drawings.
