How to draw Cerebus

Do you know who is Cerebus the Aardvark? Until recently, we ourselves did not know who it is.

But we corrected this situation, read comics about him, learned who it is and now we are ready to teach you how to draw Cerebus the Aardvark.

Step 1

This lesson will begin with very simple actions — we will need to outline the head and torso of Cerebus using the simplest ovals. These ovals should be drawn with very light, almost transparent lines.

Step 2

We continue to draw the main outlines of Cerebus. Here we just sketch out the outlines of the arms and legs. This step should also be performed using very light lines.

Step 3

Let’s get down to the details now. By tradition, we will start with the head. First of all we sketch out the ears on the top of the head. Next, we outline the hairstyle and large merged eyes with dots – pupils inside.

Step 7

And probably the easiest step of the lesson about about how to draw Cerebus the Aardvark, in which we will just have to paint over the vest in solid black. Add shadows using hatching and the drawing lesson is complete.
