Hello dear readers and welcome to the drawing tutorial about how to draw a kumiho. It is a creature from Korean mythology, representing a werewolf woman, capable of turning into a fox with nine tails.

 

Step 1

So, let’s start with the stickman, that is, from the skeleton of our today’s character. First of all we sketch out the head in the form of an oval, then the spine, the chest and the pelvis. At the end of this step we sketch out the arms and legs.

Let’s draw two lines on the head that will help us draw the details of the face. Next, outline the neck and torso, which strongly narrows in the waist. With the help of simple geometric figures draw arms and legs. Note that the
ratio between the hips and shoulders of women and men is slightly different.

Now let’s add some details and distinctive features to our kumiho drawing. First of all sketch out the eyes, nose and mouth. Next sketch out long straight hair. Next draw the dress and twisting tails.

Now let’s move to the basic details and make our drawing cleaner. Using clear lines draw out  the entire drawing, erasing all unnecessary guidelines.
