Hello, hear aspiring artist! Today we have prepared a new drawing lesson in which we will show you how to draw a goat for beginners. This tutorial going to be very simple, even for kids. So, let’s begin this lesson and learn how to draw a goat for beginners!

 

Step 1

As in the recent drawing lesson about a goose, we will start with the contours of the head, neck and torso. Using circle draw the head. Using a cylinder draw the neck and using a shape, similar to a bean, draw the torso.

Step 2

Using short lines sketch out the horn, ear and snout. In the lower part of the neck draw the collar and bell. Using elongated rectangles sketch out the front legs. Back legs consist of two parts – the upper part similar to an oval and the lower part similar to a rectangle. Sketch out the short tail and move to the next step.

Step 3

The silhouette ready. In this and next step we will add details. Approximately in the center of the head draw the eye. Using short strokes sketch out the mouth, nose and goatee. At the bottoms of the legs draw the hoofs.

And we get to the last step in the tutorial about how to draw a goat for kids and beginners. Erase all the guidelines and unnecessary strokes. Using wavy lines draw the texture of the torso. Darken the lines of the drawing.
