How to Draw a Bison

Hello everyone, today we learn how to draw a bison step by step. At first glance drawing a bison with a pencil is a rather difficult task. But repeating the sequence of actions and following the steps that are shown in this drawing tutorial it is already quite easy to do this.

 

Step 1

So, let’s first sketch out the skeleton of our bison. As you can see, he has a big hump and powerful shoulders. Sketch out the head, thorax and pelvis as usual ovals. Sketch out the limbs and tail.

Step 2

Draw a line of horns and a wide nose. Next draw a line of eyes, nose and ears. Connect the ovals of the chest and pelvis forming a torso. At the end of this step add the volume to the limbs.

Step 3

Make the horns voluminous as in our drawing. Draw out the eyes, nose, mouth and outlines of the head. Next, circle the outlines of the body.

Step 4

Now remove all unnecessary lines from the head and torso of our bison. Make the lines clear and smooth as in our example.

Step 5

Draw shadows in this way: first draw the outlines of the shadows with very light lines. Next fill in these outlines using simple hatching.
